I'm Baaaaacccckkkkk.....

I am really mad at myself for not updating my blog.

Like I said in previous posts, this blog is my Journal.

I want stuff to look back on.

So here we go. Catching up with Shlyn.

Much more interesting than keeping up with any Kardashian...right?

Well now...

My last blog post was about my trip to Miami which happened...

4 MONTHS AGO!!!

gahh I am really beating myself up about this...

Since Miami I have

finished off the Spring 2015 semester
lost the best boss in the world
got a NEW best boss in the world
turned TWENTY years old
attended the ED SHEERAN concert with my favorite person (DAD)
Watched two of my best friends get married (congrats Anna and Tyler)
Watched ELLA turn ONE YEARS OLD!

Welcomed home one of my best friends after his TWO year mission (Weston)
worked on several videos for clients
went to Seattle with Carly to visit COURTNEY
Went to Lake Powell with my family and Carly and Zoe...

and a whole lot in between...

In Seattle we did everything we could before the long drive back to Utah.

FOUND A PEANUT BUTTER CUP THE SIZE OF MY HEAD^^^

YES WE ATE THREE POUNDS OF CRAB LEGS...

Courtney was very upset that we were feeding the baby ducks sour skittles, but the ducks LOVED THEM! They even ate them out of our hands!

The best shrimp in all of the land.

I faced two fears that trip. Touching chewed gum and going to the top of the Seattle Space Needle. AGH.

Carly is such an excitable person.

It was so cute watching her get so excited about everything in the big city.

Especially the flowers at Pikes Place Market.

SHE loved the flowers.

Miami // Luke Dallis Stringham

What better way to spend spring break then to go visit your favorite peeps on one of the best beaches in the world?

On Friday after I took my microbiology midterm I headed straight to the airport to hop on a plane!

That is my kind of SPRING BREAK kickoff!

When I got there Hannah and Jack picked me up at the airport. Hannah was sitting in the back and I was sitting in the front and she held my hand the whole way to their house. She couldn't contain her excitement, neither could I! We rode up the elevator to their apartment and when the elevator doors opened and I got off I saw Jackson at the end of the hall running towards me at full speed with the biggest smile on his face. My heart was full!

Next was Jane, she followed shortly behind Jackson yelling

"my ashy! my ashy! come see my room!"

at this point tears were swelling, the happy kind.

Melissa said that her kids were more excited in this moment than on Christmas Morning.

They were all gathered around me trying to talk to me, 3 little voices all at once!

Then I got to meet baby Luke.

He was so so so TINY!

I fell in love with him instantly and I didn't want to put him down.

The whole week in Miami was so fun!

I got to celebrate Jackson's birthday with him, I can't believe he is FIVE years old!

One of the days we went to a really cool park. It has a playground that is like a maze and it has 5 floors! Melissa sat on a bench to feed Luke and I took the other kids to the playground. It was so exciting. There was a room in the playground with flashy lights and mirrors and I told Jane it was the "party room" and she started shaking her little butt and dancing! I couldn't stop laughing!

It was a fun day.

On Jackson's birthday after his party we went down to the beach and ate pizza. It was such a pretty evening with the sun setting behind us.
