FUN is all I can say....

Hold up.
Where is summer going?
Why can't I just freeze time.

I wish I could control time,
but maybe it is a good thing that I don't have any control over time...
Those of you who know me know that I would go back in time to much.
I definitely love the past, and sometimes I forget to live in the present.

I want to go back to Elementary Summer's.
Where sleepovers on the trampoline were held weekly.
Bewitch marathons happened often.
Popsicles and Mac N" Cheese were eaten daily.
and not a care in the world was given.

Anyway.
I could go on about the past.
But let's take a step back into the present.
Well not the present literally because PRESENTLY I am laying in my bed, at 2 AM.
Blogging.

Let's just have flashback to about a week ago.

I got a pedicure on Friday with mom. Success as always!

Friday night I babysat.
Then I went on a midnight IN'N'OUT run with Courtney who got in from Washington that night!
(thumbs up)

Saturday I woke up early, met Carly and Courtney for breakfast.
Then I went to Lagoon with Carly's sister Olivia!

We had a good time laughing til' our stomach's hurt on all of (most of) the rides!

Saturday night I went to the ONE REPUBLIC CONCERT with my cute friends!
We (meaning I) danced my heart out.
I love concerts, I can tell you that...

Were my friend's embarrassed of me dancing and singing to every song? Likely.
Did I enjoy every minute of it? Positively!

camping 14'

Oh what a lovely weekend. From shooting guns, to shooting cameras. It was definitely was a weekend of adventure for the books.

On Friday, my darling friends and I headed over to Grantsville (nowhere), Utah to camp at a friends property for the weekend. Anna, Carly, Dubs, Jeff, Tessa, and I all went down. We set up tents, went four-wheeling, and had a campfire with s'mores.

How do you go camping without making s'mores?
Boring people camp without s'mores.
That is a fact.

My favorite part of the trip was when we were sitting around the campfire and Jeff and Dubs decided to go on a four wheel ride, leaving the girls behind. We wanted to pull a prank on them, so we decided to go hide behind a trailer on the property. We went over, and while we were waiting for them to come back and look for us we all got the urge to pee. No seriously. So in the moonlight, behind a trailer, in Nowhere, Utah. We all peed together. Squatting, holding hands (partly because we were scared, and partly to stay balanced) I don't think I have ever peed next to someone so close before, nor have I laughed so hard before. Oh dear. :) We ended up sending the boys on a wild goose chase looking for us, but they finally found us and we got a good laugh.

We played games all night in the girls tent.
We finished the night off gazing at the stars by the fire. You know how that goes, for some reason sitting around a fire always stirs up a deep conversation.

We went to bed.
We woke up bright and early the next morning.
We snuggled, made breakfast, hiked, shot guns, four-wheeled, enjoyed hot dogs around the fire, and took down camp.

On our way home we got one of my new favorite treats.
F'reals.

Oh yes.
The things I used to see at the gas station that I thought looked disgusting and vomit worthy have turned out to be my favorite quick treat.

You buy them at Maverick gas station.
They are smoothies in cups with a do it yourself process.

1. pick your flavor
2. remove the lid
3. place in robotic arm
4. select consistency (extra thick, thick, or less thick)
5. wait
6. enjoy

oh yes.
oh joy.
oh yum.

Thank you Maverick!

When we got home that afternoon, we swam at my house.
I went to Lonestar Taqueria with Andrea, Sean, Mom, Dad, and Seans Family.
Then I hung out with friends.
We got frozen hot chocolate, played games in skinner's basement, and had quite the laugh at a new game that is beyond un-explainable.

Frozen Hot Chocolate.
It is chocolatey, it is yummy, it is creamy, it is DELICIOUS.

Don't even get me started.
Since half of this post has been about "F'REALS" then I will save my obsessive rant about Frozen Hot Chocolate for another day.

Today was Sunday, and I said goodbye to one of my VERY best friends.
Alice Abrams.
I went to her farewell at my homeward.
Afterwards I had lunch and treats at her home.

She is going to Cincinnati, Ohio on her mission. I am very excited for her!

Andrea, Sean, Ella, and Charlie came over for dinner, and then Seans family, and Josh and Lindsay came over for dessert and to watch the Birth Story video I made of Ella.

Alice stopped by one last time, and had dessert with us.
She has had a pet fish for awhile now, and her mom doesn't want it at her house after she leaves.
So I told her I will take care of it for her.
So I got a NEW pet today!

Welcome Kearny the fish!

Lake Powell is in 6 days and I am more than excited.
If someone were to ask me how excited I am on a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest, I would literally break the scale. Ten doesn't even measure my excitement, let's just say that!

I love camping with friends, I love missionaries, I love baby Ella.

E l l a J a n e S m i t h

On May 25, 2014 at 6:25 p.m. Ella Jane Smith was born! How exciting!
It all started on May 24, 2014. I had just gotten home from hanging out with friends (about midnight or so) and I was getting ready for bed! Before I even got in my bed, my dad came in my room and said "Andrea is going to the hospital now and mom is headed up to meet her and Sean. Why don't you ride up with your mom, bring your camera..." So we got to the hospital around 1 a.m. It was a LONG night.  They gave her an epideral and broke her water around 3 a.m. and she started to push about an hour later. She gave it her all. Noon came, and the doctors decided to give her a break. So we ate lunch, Andrea took a rest. She started pushing again, It was the longest day ever. Unfortunately, the doctor's discovered that Andrea's Pelvis bone is very small and tight, and the baby's head wasn't going to make it through.  They would have to do a c-section. Andrea did not want a c-section. She kept trying and trying to push. They finally took her in for a c-section, and Ella Jane Smith was born at 6:25 p.m that night. Weighing 7 pounds, .69 ounces, and 19 inches long.

Welcome to the world Ella Jane! I sure do Love you!
