Senior

So for the past few years, Olympus High Seniors have been playing a game called "Senior Assasin."  It is when the graduating Seniors all pay $5.00, and then they are assigned one other person. You get an envelope with the rules and your own personal card that has the name of who you need to kill on it  In order to kill someone, you must get them wet.  When you kill them, you take their card and they are out of the game.  Whoever get's the most kills by a certain time gets the pot of money collected.  Each student paid $5.00 and there is about $635.00 in the pot.  Here are the legit rules of the game,

Olympus Senior Assassin 2013 Rules

Entry:

-$5 per person is to be paid to Kip Winterton any time before Saturday, May 18 at 4:00 PM. This can be done either at school or at his house.
(Address: 2421 Shadow Wood Circle; Phone: 801-664-6553)
-Money will be held in a lock box until the end of the game
-No teams will be allowed to enter together, however alliances are allowed. Strategize accordingly.
-No late entries will be permitted. Sign up before Saturday, May 18 at 4:00 PM or you will not be able to join.
-You can pick up your initial assassination assignment any time on Monday May 20 (preferably before school) under Kip’s front doormat. Be fair and only take your own assignment or the game won’t work.
-The game will officially begin on Monday, May 20 at 6:00 am and end on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:00 pm.
-You will be assigned a specific person to assassinate. You will also be assigned as a target for someone else. Your job is to kill your targets while staying alive yourself
-The winner of Olympus Senior Assassin 2013 will get 100% of the grade’s buy-in pot. If there are multiple winners, the pot will be split on an even percentage.
-The winner is the one who gets the most kills and is still alive by the time the game ends on June 5.

Weapons:

-The only real requirement for a weapon is that water is used
-Touching your target purposefully with water completes a kill.
-This includes but is not limited to squirt guns, cups of water, buckets of water, hoses, throwing your target in a swimming pool, etc. Be careful about damaging electronic devices. If you damage somebody’s phone, ipod, etc., you are eliminated from the game, and you need to talk to your target about repaying him or her.
-Water is only usable in its liquid form. You cannot hit your target with ice, drinks, or any other liquid.

Off-Limit Zones:

-No kills can be made on school grounds from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm during the school week. This includes the parking lot. However kills made at after-school concerts, assemblies, or activities that start after 2:30 pm are considered valid kills.
-No assassinations inside churches or any public places of worship (parking lots are fair game though)
-No assassinations inside your target’s workplace. Walking through the parking lot before and after work is, however, fair game as long as it is 100 feet from where the target works.
-No assassinations inside the doors of your target’s home. If, however, a permanent resident of the home invites you inside, you may kill your target inside his or her home.
-If any adult tells you to leave a certain area, leave immediately. This means get completely off the property. No hiding behind cars waiting until they go back into their house.

Making Assassinations:

-The assassin is to make his or her own kills. You cannot send someone else to do it for you.
-If a kill is made, both the assassin and the target need to contact Kip at 801-664-6553. This can be done through a text, phone call, or a picture message (no contacting through snapchat, or any other social network). This is just so I can keep a tally on how many kills each person gets.
-All participants need to carry their assassination target paper around with them at all times, so you can give your target to the people who kill you.
-Do not argue about whether or not a kill is valid. If the assassin can find any trace amount of water on the target’s person, the kill is valid.
-Be honest so the game can work. Accept defeat when you are assassinated
-Report any unlawful behavior when noticed.

It has been so much fun! I would share my information, but I can't risk it yet.  I am still in, and I am going to see if I can get further!

It's all fun and games, until you get squirt.

I was  my cute friend, Alice Abram's Birthday on Tuesday. Happy Birthday Alice, I love you!

Alice and Me on the first day of fourth grade

On Tuesday night, I went to the Senior Service Banquet.  Seniors were being awarded for their service they have completed through high school.  Scholarships were also announced.  It was very long but fun to see all of my friends.
Campbell and Taylor got a scholarship from this guy.  CONGRATS!

It has been pretty fun.  On Tuesday, we took our Senior Year panoramic picture with the whole grade! I don't have a picture of the WHOLE thing put here are some pictures from that day.
Me, Marron, and Ruby.  You can also see David photobombing us in the top left hand corner.

So in other news, me and Carly sluffed fourth period on Wednesday to swim at my house.  We didn't want anyone to know because we didn't want to get assasinated while we were swimming.  We had fun, then Taylor Jones came over, and then Carly's little sister Olivia came too! We decided to go over to our favorite sno-cone shack called "Island Flavor" for some sno-cones!  It was the first time of the year and it was so yummy!

On Thursday, It was Weston Smith's birthday, SO MANY BIRTHDAY'S THIS MONTH! So Happy Birthday Weston, I Love you!

On B Day's, Me and Carly have community of caring.  For me and Carly's community service site, we go to Howard R. Drigg's Elementary School and work with Ms. Samson's third grade class! It has been so much fun.  Thursday was our last day so we brought the kids popsicles and ate them outside with them  It was so fun! I will miss it! I forgot to take a picture, but here is a picture of the sign on the way in to the school.

After we went to Driggs, I went to the dentist and Carly went to Courtney's house to stay safe for Senior Assasin, she was apparently being followed! It was so funny watching her run into courtney's house so fast screamng trying not to get shot by a water gun.  No one was even out there.

On Friday, I didn't have a fourth period. So After Seminary, I went home and watched Soul Surfer on my Ipad outside.  Then I put on my swimsuit and layed out by the pool!  It was so relaxing!

be yourself

Later, Taylor Jones came.  Then Courtney Shaeffer and Zach Williams came too! It was a party!! Courtney brought her I-phone with a really cool waterproof case, so we had fun taking pictures with that.

I'm Crazy

After we finished swimming, we showered off and made dinner! Lou Filippe came while we were swimming, then Carly came when we were getting out. Tessa came whie we were eating, and Ruby showed up later! Party! Then Weston, Cooperr, and Jake Knight came.  We had a good time, then Senior Assasin kicked in and people were sneaking around outside trying to kill people.  Anika Erickson and Alexa Erickson (twins in my grade) are kind of teaming up.  Anika is trying to assasinate Carly, and Alexa was trying to assasinate Tessa.  Then Corbin Anderson was trying to assasinate Anika.  Then whoever was trying to assasinate Corbin was here too.  It got crazy, my assasinator was here too it was insane.  A few of us just hid in the play room.  My favorite moment was when I saw Dane Jensen walk in my door with a HUGE water gun and a creepy mask.  I got a picture of him sitting in the play room with us.

Oh and it is May 25, 2013! Do you know what that means? Exactly one month until I get to see Jeff!

Peace and Love. <3
