There is nothing like the feeling you get during the last 4 months of the year. Happiness. Pure happiness.
You could say Max likes tortilla chips...
Sweet Baby Jane turned 2 on September 19! She is getting to big to fast! I love Jane so much!
Mondays with Ella bring a lot of Joy and Laughter!
So it was our "Friendiversary" on September 19th. (Carly was supposed to be in this pic since we were celebrating the anniversary of our trio but she was stuck nannying :( ..)
I love when September rolls around, and mount olympus is a radiant orange and red. Fall is in the air. You can feel it when the cold air glazes your skin. You can feel it when you hear leaves crunching under your boots. Ahh boots! (My favorite part of my whole wardrobe) You taste fall when you eat fresh baked chocolate chip pumpkin bread. Football season, scarf season, apple cider season. September is a wonderful time of year!
I definatley take advantage of this view...
Now October is just September amplified. The air is cooler, the leaves are brighter, the apples are crisper, and October means one thing. Halloween. Halloween is just the start of the holiday-trifecta!
November is a time of thankfulness. We should be thankful year around always, but what's better than a Holiday where we celebrate how thankful we are? And let's not forget about the food. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes...to name a few of my favorites. (In no particular order) And when the thanksgiving decorations are put a way, the turkey feast is digested, and the Black Friday madness is put to rest, there is one thing on everyones mind.
Christmas. Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I can't even. It is barley September and Christmas music came on shuffle today, Ian's guess what?! I didn't even skip the song. I just blasted it. I enjoyed it. If my friends read this post, they will laugh. They know I have an issue. No. Not an issue, an OBSESSION. When December rolls around, and the valley is gracefully coated with layers of snow to my waist, It is time to celebrate christmas. Hot Chocolate, Skiing, family, sweater weather, early sunset, and dont even get me started about the Christmas Decorations. My mother makes our home feel like a christmas cottage from a movie. She is Martha Stuart, (minus the prison time served) One day I will miss my moms decorating skills. I hope my home can be as cozy and christmasy as hers when I move away. There is something magical in the air at christmas time. (Okay NOT the inversion) but something else. People are kinder, everyone and everything is festive. Even the Street lights flash red and green! Now. If you ever find anyone who loves christmas more than me, I will give you $100. Because it's nearly impossible. Now I am going to take a deep breath so I don't have a heart attack from excitement. Also because if I dont stop now, this post will never end. I could go on about Christmas forever.
